April 4, 2008. That morning, I bade farewell (for now) to Neko who was going to the United States (and Canada). I left around lunch time because Garou was hanging out at SM Megamall. That afternoon, I finally created my card. I was reborn into the cub called Swan.

      My home course (for now) became Akina, though I have to train at Akina Lake first. I fell in love with the course in no time, and it felt like a dance. Everything had to be perfect. There were times when I made a mistake in the shifting (some even before the first minor turn) and I forced quit because of that. Then one day while I was training, Kevin (LION) suddenly thought of the name "Swan Lake". Sensei liked the idea and proposed that Akina Lake be one of my primary courses. I was actually thrilled =)

      It seems to go uphill from here. Neko's coming back on Sunday, I got my time to go down (Akina Lake CCW) by at least half a second at 2'47"625'", and I'm just damn optimistic. IDAS v4.1.5 is coming very soon (either this week or next week) and there will be no more Penalty Cancel. I've been trained only on Akina Lake so there won't be much of a problem for me.

      I also cosplayed Athena Asamiya during Ozinefest first day and the Tokyo Tokyo Mall Raid last Saturday =)



..and now I'm ready to be.. extraordinary.

      Nicco and his family left for California around 12 hours ago. Time began to move slower than usual when he left. I went to SM Megamall after lunch and I saw people playing Initial D in World of Fun (an arcade at the basement part of SM Megamall) so I went to hang out with them for some time. I went to play as well, but then I'm not as good as I used to be (which was really bad as well).

      My OS (Windows Vista) crashed earlier, when I tried dual booting the system with Ubuntu. I was just about to fix the partition by changing advanced options in the system but when I restarted, things went wrong. I was panicking like hell. Good thing when I went home the OS fixed itself.

      I rode a bus from SM Megamall to Muñoz for a change. From there, I rode a jeepney from Muñoz to a nearer side of the street I live in (compared to the route I usually take, which makes me ride two jeepneys), and then walked from there to my house.

      Ozinefest will be starting soon, and I've been busy fixing the costumes all night long. I got my costume a few days ago (Tuesday if I'm not mistaken) but I only realized the mistakes just now. The zipper at the back made the back part of my blouse create a hump. I'll be Athena Asamiya the hunchback tomorrow lest I do something about that. I wasn't able to add detail into the boot covers yet, and I'm not sure on how to wear the wig. I'm used to cramming, but not when it comes to cosplay. I am so doomed.

      Things would be better if Nicco was still here. But then, he should also enjoy his vacation over there. =) (Don't worry babe, I'm gonna be alright)
